🏉 Adam Goodes
Adam Goodes spent important school and football years at Horsham after his family moved there. In his own account, the confidence gained through football helped him complete his VCE. His later Sydney Swans career brought two Brownlow Medals and national recognition, including Australian of the Year in 2014. He also helped establish the GO Foundation to support Indigenous education. The Horsham connection is part of that development, linking local schooling and sport with the educational opportunities he later worked to extend to others.
